This Privacy Policy explains how PureCoded ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our Shopify app, Prevent Oversell (the "App").

Scope of the App. The App is a storefront-only theme app extension. It disables the Add to Cart button on your product pages when inventory reaches a threshold you configure. It does not modify inventory, place orders, or protect against overselling on any other sales channel (for example, Shopify POS, marketplaces, or third-party channels). Its function is limited to what a customer sees and can do on your storefront.

Information We Collect

The App collects very little data:

• Shop information — your shop's domain and basic shop details, shared by Shopify when you install the App.
• App configuration data — the buffer thresholds you set at the shop, product, or variant level.
• Inventory levels — product and variant inventory quantities, read from Shopify to compare against your configured threshold.

The App does not collect your customers' personal information (names, email addresses, payment details, etc.). It has no reason to access customer accounts, orders, or checkout data, and it does not do so.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate the App's core function — hiding Add to Cart when stock is at or below your threshold.
• To let you manage settings from the App's admin interface within Shopify.
• To provide support if you contact us.
• To comply with Shopify's Partner Program requirements and applicable law.

We do not sell shop or usage data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Data Retention

We retain shop configuration data for as long as the App remains installed on your store. If you uninstall the App, we delete your shop's configuration data within a reasonable period, consistent with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhook requirements (customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction). Because the App never stores customer personal data, there is no customer data to return or redact in response to those webhooks — only shop-level configuration data is deleted upon shop redaction.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the limited data we store, including restricted access to production systems and secure connections between the App and Shopify's APIs.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your shop's configuration data at any time by contacting us below, or by uninstalling the App.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
